COPS Monitoring Bulletin Newsletter #22

TROUBLE WITH TROUBLE SIGNALS? Summer thunderstorms usually mean an increase in momentary power failures and other trouble signals. However, many times, the trouble restores before we can call your customer. Did you know that you can have our system hold trouble signals from 1 to 60 minutes waiting for a restore? Then, if the restore is received within the time frame, the signal is automatically logged and it never goes to a dispatcher. However, if the signal did not restore (DNR), it will go to an operator for normal handling. DNR can be activated on your template(s) or on individual accounts by calling Dealer Support.
